Join a next-generation manufacturing facility supporting advanced computer and AI server system integration. The Production Manager plays a critical, hands-on role in executing day-to-day manufacturing operations while leading production teams through fast-paced, high-mix production cycles. This role is designed for a floor-focused leader who thrives in real-time problem solving, production execution, and continuous improvement. This is not a purely strategic or desk-based position—the Production Manager is expected to maintain a strong presence on the production floor and actively support line operations.

Position Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for managing daily production activities across manufacturing and system integration lines at Compal’s Georgetown, TX facility. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role works closely with Production Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineering, Test, Quality, and Operations leadership to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets are consistently met. The ideal candidate brings hands-on manufacturing leadership experience, strong execution skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing production demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support daily production activities across manufacturing and system integration lines
  • Lead, coach, and support production supervisors and line staff to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing, resources, or processes to meet changing demand
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and manufacturing standards at all times
  • Identify and resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime and disruptions
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Test teams, Quality, and Operations leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, throughput, and product quality
  • Maintain a strong, hands-on presence on the production floor; direct engagement is required
  • Promote a culture of accountability, urgency, and execution excellence

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role
  • Hands-on manufacturing experience in computer, server, or electronics manufacturing
  • Prior experience as a Production Supervisor, Production Line Manager, or Manufacturing Engineer
  • Strong understanding of production workflows, system integration, and test environments
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing production environment
  • Comfortable leading teams directly on the production floor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in server or system integration manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to managing production teams in conjunction with test operations
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
