Sr. Accounting Manager
About the Role
Join a world-class manufacturing organization driving the next generation of server and high-performance computing systems. As the Senior Accounting Manager at our Austin facility, you’ll lead key financial operations — overseeing financial statements, audits, management reporting, and budget control — to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across our U.S. manufacturing operations. This role bridges hands-on accounting leadership with cross-functional collaboration to support Compal’s growing U.S. presence.
What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Coordinate and manage external and CPA audits, ensuring timely, accurate deliverables.
- Review and analyze management reports, cost summaries, and variance analyses for leadership.
- Support budget planning, review, and variance tracking to align financial performance with operational goals.
- Partner with internal teams to improve accounting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and process control.
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and corporate accounting standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support accounting and operational excellence.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to tax planning and financial management.
- Proven experience in the consumer electronics or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical accounting, reporting, and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities with precision.
- Preferred: Experience from a Big Four accounting firm or multinational company environment.
