About the position

TeraHop Photonics Inc. is seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Engineer to support the construction and on-going operation of a high-speed transceiver manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art ISO-7 cleanroom. This Cleanroom facility engineer jobs involve maintaining and optimizing the specialized environmental control systems and equipment within cleanroom facilities, focusing on areas like HVAC, particle control, and specialized infrastructure like RODI and gas distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to gather insights and understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide the design process.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs based on research and user feedback.
• Collaborate closely with UI designers, developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of UX designs.
• Facilitate usability testing and analyze results to iterate and improve designs.

Required Qualifications:

• During construction phase: Assist in daily coordination of contractors and vendors, to ensure the project safety, technical accuracy, and on-time completion.
• During on-going operations: Maintain the facility operating at high-level of stability, define and achieve key measure of index.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in related engineering disciplines.
• Journeyman Electrician License strongly preferred.
• Requires minimum 3 years of direct work experience in manufacturing facilities maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, RODI, and gas distribution systems. Be able to manage/lead the maintenance, diagnose, and repair works.
• Experience in cleanroom construction is a strong plus. This position requires a proactive approach to facility management, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly while adhering to safety regulations.
