About the Role
Join a next-generation manufacturing organization powering the future of high-performance computing and AI systems. As the Accounting Director, you’ll lead all financial reporting, compliance, and audit activities for our U.S. operations in Austin, ensuring accuracy, control, and transparency across a fast-scaling manufacturing environment. You’ll drive financial discipline, implement best-in-class accounting processes, and partner cross-functionally to support data-driven decision-making and operational success.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP and corporate standards.
- Lead external CPA audits and ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance.
- Strengthen internal controls and maintain SOX-aligned financial processes.
- Prepare and analyze management reports, cost summaries, and performance metrics for leadership.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with operational plans.
- Support tax planning and compliance across federal, state, and local levels.
- Track intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and inventory valuation.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team to support long-term growth.
- Partner closely with operations, supply chain, and HR to ensure unified financial governance.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including reporting, audits, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and tax planning.
- Proven success in manufacturing or consumer electronics environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Preferred: CPA certification, Big Four background, or multinational operations experience.
- Bilingual communication (English/Chinese) a plus.
