Production & Material Control (PMC) Manager

About the Role

Join a high-performance manufacturing organization supporting next-generation server and AI hardware. As the Production & Material Control (PMC) Manager, you’ll oversee the full order-to-shipment cycle, ensuring accurate forecasting, production readiness, and optimal inventory levels for our Austin operations. Your work will directly impact delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead order fulfillment across forecast, MPS/DPS planning, sales orders, and on-time shipment.
  • Drive production capacity planning and ensure line readiness for all builds.
  • Manage inventory health: stock levels, DSI, WIP, turnover, SLM, aging, and obsolescence.
  • Provide fast, clear communication to internal teams and customers to improve satisfaction.
  • Support quarterly QBR metrics and help secure future customer demand.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, logistics, and supply chain to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform related duties to support operational and business objectives.

What You Bring

  • Experience in PMC, production planning, or material control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of order fulfillment and production scheduling processes.
  • Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination ability.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage shifting priorities.
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP/MRP systems, electronics manufacturing, or server/ODM operations.
